Stay Centered

Look at this image.

One red ball.

Surrounded by pressure.

Surrounded by sharp edges.

Surrounded by things that could easily become distractions.

Yet it remains whole.

Sometimes life looks just like this. You can find yourself surrounded by opinions, expectations, conflict, demands, disappointment, and people pulling from every direction. Everything around you may feel complicated—but you do not have to become what surrounds you.

The ball doesn’t lose its shape because of what is around it.

And neither should you.

Stay centered. Stay grounded. Stay whole.

You don’t have to fight everything around you.

You don’t have to respond to everything around you.

You don’t have to become sharp because others are sharp.

You don’t have to become chaotic because the environment is chaotic.

Sometimes your greatest demonstration of strength is simply refusing to lose yourself in the middle of it all.

God did not call you to blend into the confusion. He called you to remain distinct, grounded, and faithful even when life gets crowded.

“You will keep him in perfect peace, whose mind is stayed on You, because he trusts in You.” — Isaiah 26:3

So when everything around you is pulling, pressing, demanding, and distracting, remember:

What surrounds you does not have permission to define you.

Protect your peace.

Guard your heart.

Remember who you are.

Remember whose you are.

And above all—

STAY CENTERED.

Because sometimes the testimony is not that God removed everything surrounding you.

Sometimes the testimony is that you were surrounded—and you still remained whole.
